SUNNY Soul Jam

Here is your chance to volunteer for one of Calgary’s best summer events! Volunteers are very important to Calgary ReggaeFest and without you we would not be able to continue doing this year after year. Please submit the form below for consideration.

Volunteer positions available ​

  • Before SUNNY Soul Jam (Limited Positions)

  • Thursday, June 13 (Limited Positions)

  • Friday, June 14

  • Saturday, June 15

  • Various Shift Times available

KEY DATES:

Beginning of May – Deadline to submit your application (submit early to get preferred position)

 

Mid – Late May – Available volunteer positions and shifts assigned and communicated to successful applicants.

This application does not guarantee you a volunteer position. All successful volunteer applicants will be contacted by mid-late May and provided further information on their position and shift. As some areas fill up more quickly than others, you may be asked to

assist where needed.

INFORMATION:

If you are under the age of 18 a parent/guardian consent form must be completed, signed and returned before the event you are volunteerig for. The form will be emailed to you.


By submitting this Volunteer Application you agree to the following:

1 If accepted as a Calgary ReggaeFest volunteer, I have read, fully understand and will adhere to the volunteer responsibilities, code of conduct and policies of the Calgary Reggae Festival Society.

2 I grant permission to the Calgary Reggae Festival Society to use photographs, videos, digital media, statements, and any comments made by me in writing or otherwise for promotional purposes in any form of media.

3 I voluntarily and freely, with full knowledge of the risks involved in volunteering, agree to assume all risk of death, injury, loss or damage that I may sustain as a result of my participation in any Calgary Reggae Festival Society activities and hereby RELEASE and DISCHARGE the Calgary Reggae Festival Society, Board of Directors, Event Coordinators, Organizing Committee, Event Sponsors, Performers, Food Vendors, Festival Participants & Volunteers associated with Calgary ReggaeFest from any claim or action that I may have in respect to my participation in and volunteering with the Calgary Reggae Festival Society. This waiver is binding on me, my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators and insurers.

4 All information provided in this form shall be kept confidential and is for the sole use of the Calgary Reggae Festival Society.
