Welcome Vendors

ReggaeFest happens August 18 and 19 at Shaw Millennium Park.  We look forward to working with all vendors.  Please read the information below and fill in the application form if interested in a vendor space.  Once we receive the application form you will be contacted with further information.

Food Vendor Deadline: June 15, 2017 – Wait List in Effect

Food Vendors must comply with Alberta Health Services (AHS) health regulations and submit the Special Event Vendor Notification to ReggaeFest upon application acceptance to vendors@ReggaeFest.ca.

Food Vendors must review the City of Calgary Festival and Event Food Vendor Operating Requirements.

Merchandise and Community Vendor Deadline: June 20, 2017 – Wait List in Effect

  • This application is for both Friday, August 18, 2017 (4:00 pm – 11:00 pm service time) and Saturday, August 19, 2017 (12:00 noon – 11:00 pm service time).
  • Exclusivity is not guaranteed.
  • ALL successful vendors will be required to provide proof of liability insurance.
  • Promotion & marketing companies will not be considered as vendors.
  • Event is All Ages, Family-Friendly

Due date

  • Full payment for all food, merchandise and community vendors due ONCE APPROVED. Non-refundable after July 15, 2017.

  • Cash, certified cheque payable to Calgary Reggae Festival Society, PayPal or e-transfer.  (Please do not pay until you have received a vendor agreement to sign.)

Description

  • Set up starts, a MUST for Food vendors, set up must be complete by 1:00 pm

  • Tear down. Please advise ahead of time if you want to tear down early.
  • Additional tear down time if needed. Everything MUST be cleaned up and off site by 12:00 noon.

  • A 20' x 20' tent inlcuding side panels (if required)
  • Up to four eight-foot tables and five chairs
  • Up to ten non-transferable passes for staff access
  • Connection to electrical service for equipment listed
  • A triple compartment sink with food quality water lines connected
  • Must comply to all health regulations AHS and city of Calgary
  • AHS Forms must be submitted to ReggaeFest upon application acceptance.
  • Vendor equipment (such as microwaves and warmers) must be commercial grade. No household equipment on site.
  • Compostable food ware is a must
  • Damage Deposit will be required ($200 - refundable after event). Please note Tape is not allowed on any tents (duct, masking etc...)

All food vendors are required to have a fire extinguisher at their booth certified within the last year. Proof of certification must be
affixed to the unit or available upon request.



No barbeques are allowed under the tents and all propane must be securely stored.
